General Information about Kadampa Buddhist Festivals

Each year, Kadampa Buddhist Centers around the world organize large international Buddhist Festivals in various countries.

These Festivals are special spiritual vacations, when nearly 4,000 people - including over 400 Buddhist monks and nuns - gather from around the world to receive Buddhist teachings directly from the Spiritual Director of the NKT, the Buddhist Master Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Where are the Festivals?

The Spring and Summer Festivals every year are held at Manjushri Centre in England. The teachings take place in the beautiful UK Kadampa World Peace Temple. It is located on the shores of Morecambe Bay, just south of the English Lake District.
